LA Metro Brand Guidelines

Developing a new digital branding tool

LA Metro has grown significantly in the last few years, and a larger network of consultants and employees was needed to support this growth. It was important for the Metro Design team to develop a new tool, a brand guidelines website, to onboard new brand ambassadors. To understand the challenge, we immersed ourselves in the Metro world to understand their pain points in managing the brand. Interviews with key stakeholders from various departments informed the content, design and functionality of the website. The site balances brand rules with inspiration to showcase the exciting possibilities of working within the guidelines. This robust website supports the design team in managing the communications across all touchpoints to ensure Metro stays on brand. We continue to partner with Metro to expand the functionality of the website.

Capturing an interior sensibility

Kay Kollar is an interior designer who transforms architecturally significant houses through the selection of color, materials, and furniture. We partnered with Kay to develop a responsive website to showcase not only her projects but also convey her overall design philosophy. The platform allows a visitor to explore the spaces as though they were there with minimal design interruptions. We worked closely with Kay to translate her interior vision into code.

Connecting to the best in modern design

Jules Seltzer Associates (JSA), a home and office furnishings showroom in Beverly Hills, represents iconic design lines from Herman Miller, Knoll and Vitra. The marketing challenge was to create a strong connection between the consumer and JSA.  A consistent yet flexible visual voice was implemented through email campaigns, print advertising, social media and a refreshed website. We continue to collaborate with JSA to evolve the brand.
