Allison has worked in the design industry for more than 20 years for diverse organizations such as The Hammer Museum, Capital Group Companies, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hyatt Hotels and the Kennedy Center.
Her work has received recognition from the Society of Publication Designers, AR 100, Graphis, Society of Environmental Designers, and the American Association for Museums. Four of her identity projects garnered a ReBrand 100 Award—the highest recognition for excellence in brand repositioning. Committed to supporting the design community, she has lectured at Art Center College of Design, UCLA Extension, and University of Southern California and served on the board of the Los Angeles chapter of AIGA.
