Dinosaurs are the cornerstone of the collection at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. The museum opened a new 14,000-square-foot Dinosaur Hall to highlight the latest dinosaur discoveries and bring paleontology to life. Challenging conventional visual interpretations of the subject matter, the new graphics program is bright, colorful and bold. Layers of information and content were established to engage visitors of varying ages and degrees of interest. Content is interpreted visually to convey key concepts through information graphics, photography, illustrations and hands-on interactives.
